The textures are brutal and poorly designed- the hunt spots are great if you are a high level who only cares about high exp an hour. Yalahar actually pretty well marked a change in Cips game plan for Tibia- it was far more focused on giving players the exp they want and less about lore, role-play or sense. There is an Orc fort right next to elves, demons are but a 5 minute walk from town, all of the pits of inferno creatures that used to require either a a huge team mission to get to, or a lengthy quest to get acsess to the deeper mines, which even then are a good 20 minutes away from town, are now literally 5 minutes away from the city of Yalahar. There is a new Djinn hunting spot, again a 2 minute walk away. The Yalahari items are ugly, ill thought out and basically just new excuses for high level equipment. That all being said- if you want to be a successful player, you'll find many of the strongest exp/loot spots there.

Outfits are ugly, houses are ugly, city is ugly, items are ugly, new creatures are ugly. The players lapped it up. The new story arcs are lazy, there are VERY few new books in the new city, and they have really contradicted some of their past histories. For example, in the new city of Yalahar, you will find an Orc Fortress and an Elf Fortress on the same screen as each other. Following the history of Orc's and elves, please tell me how the first inhabitants didn't destroy the next ones whilst they were building their fort? Elves hate Orcs.

Secondly, the Necromants house now has a teleporter on his roof that leads to PoI. The entire point of the Necromants house is that he DIED trying to make a portal to PoI and never actually succeeded.

The fact that after basically 50 Tibian years a teleporter now appears on the still abandoned and still undead ridden house just means Cip wanted to have an easy way for all the high levels to hunt the nice rare itemy creatures with no regard to the history they themselves have created. Once you go through this amazingly appeared teleporter you end up in a nice white room with gold patterns on the wall.
