From Sam Sparro's SoundCloud - 'Hands Up' - First single from the upcoming EP Quantum Physical Volume 2. Sam Sparro has two new EPs coming out later this year, and this evening he premiered his new track Hands Up from the first one on BBC Radio 1. The electronic dance track will feature on Quantum Physical Volume 2, the long-awaited follow up to Quantum Physical Volume 1 which came out back in October 2013. The last time we wrote about Sam, it was about the superb Stay In Love, a collaboration with New York DJ PLASTIC PLATES that landed on the internet back in February 2014. Hands Up not may not be as front-loaded with synths as that lofty gem, but it’s certainly bang on the money with where it’s at right now, with the Black and Gold singer’s smooth, enigmatic vocals layered over a throbbing electronic bassline, which gradually builds up in to a slam dunk of funk and dancefloor-beckoning beats.
