Hp Laserjet 1100 Printer Driver For Windows 7
Automatically Update LaserJet 1100 HP Printers Drivers with Easy Driver Pro for Windows 7. Sep 11, 2011 I'm using a LJ 1100 printer on Windows 7 with the LaserJet 1100. That’s the HP LaserJet 1100 (MS) driver which doesn’t seem to support manual.
After working fine for months on a Windows 7 64-bit system my old HP1100 printer stopped working a couple of months back out of the blue. Done some research and this appears to be a common occurrence. Found a thread by a person who worked out his HP1100 stopped working just after a windows update.
He deleted the updates and his printer started working again. He didn't specify which update caused the issue and I have had about 50 updates since mine stopped working & I'm not sure which one is caused the hp1100 driver to crash. When I unplug/plug the printer USB there is no familiar 'ding-dong' sound since it stopped working. Also in an attempt to fix this issue I removed the printer from my computer with the view to reinstalling it again but Windows now does not recognise when the printer is plugged in. Anyone have any ideas about where to go from here coz it's a great printer & is actually working fine 100%? Hi, If in the update history there are no failed updates and it is showing for all the updates 'successfully installed' then it will not be possible to tell exactly which update has resulted the issue (Printer not working).
First I would suggest you to check if there are any failed updates in. If there are failed updates, that could be the reason for this issue. What happens is sometimes failed updates conflicts and arise this kind of issue. Enabler All Hail The Void Rar. So if the failed updates are installed successfully then the issue might resolve. However you may try updating the Printer drivers by visiting website and check if that resolves the issue. Hope it helps. Hi & many thanks for your words of wisdom. Yes, several months back there were a couple of failed windows updates. I tried several times to reinstall the updates & every time they failed again. I'm not sure why or how to install them successfully but if that is causing the problem then I am open to any advice you may have. As far as the HP1100 drivers go I have been to their website several times to try & help fix my problem & unfortunately there are no updated drivers available nor will there likely to be any in the future, probably because the 1100 is such a dinosaur.
